Graham is a sales and service effectiveness specialist with over 30 years of experience helping organisations improve performance through leadership, team development and customer insight.


He works with organisations that want to better understand their customers, strengthen how their people communicate, and turn insight into practical action that improves sales, service and retention.


Graham is Co-Founder of The Conversation Lab, alongside Kathryn Mitchell, helping organisations improve execution by strengthening how people communicate — whether within teams, with customers or across the wider business. He is also the founder of Cognis Insights, where he leads work uncovering the real drivers behind customer behaviour through in-depth, independent interviews and structured methodologies.


Drawing on his expertise as a Certified Forensic Interviewer and Clean Language practitioner, Graham helps organisations uncover what’s really driving behaviour , beyond surface-level data and use that insight to take meaningful action.


His background spans both corporate and entrepreneurial environments. He has built and led sales teams at Computacenter, led Commercial and Global Sourcing teams at Monitise, and headed the Consulting practice at The Gap Partnership.


Known for his pragmatic, engaging and insightful style, Graham helps organisations simplify complexity, align teams and create momentum that lasts.
